Is there anyone who actually enjoys hearing the moronic song (sung to Winter Wonderland) "There's only ooooooooooone (insert fighter name here EG Ricky Hatton), There's only ooooooooooone (insert fighter name here again), walking along singing a song, walking in a (insert same fighter name here) wonderland!!!"


Surely the most obnoxious,pointless, meaningless, irritating chant ever

Bah humbug..... I remember hearing it at the york hall and at wembley arena watching Hatton fight I liked it. Bet it sounded great in Vegas.

I agree, it's bloody awful.

I'm all for singing in the crowd but do something with some wit.

I hate it. More then I hate that irritating pudendum from the script, and I would actually kill him.

Was with my old man at some boxing the other week & he just turned round to me & said "this song has been done to death" sadly I agree. Its a pity that the fans of some fighters cant come up with some amusing songs.

The fan that shouted "hit him you dipstick" at Delboy Chisora was funny though.

All sport seems to be using the same old chants now, 'There's only one Ricky Hatton' was good for a while but when that band started following them round and forcing it on everyone all fight long, they killed it (as they've also done with the England games).

Boxing doesn't need singing (Stacey Solomon & The Cockney rejects proved that in the Mitchell Katsidis fight)!!

Really? Peter Vaughans fans were singing it at his fight with Phil Fury on the fury/chisora undercard and to tell you the truth it was the only sound in the arena, i guess i liked it then aswell. There probably needs to be different songs at a show..... Do you not like just this chant or any singing at boxing?

Oh no, I think passionate, vocal fans are great.... It's just this chant. It's been going on for years, is largely meaningless, and not in the least bit creative. There is some crap shouted at football, but at least they have more than one lyric and can sometimes be witty

It's better than the usual Fuc*ing knock him out chant of the WAGS and mothers

Totally and utterly agree 110%!!

What shall they sing then? its jus easy innit, and your just trying to get your fighter going give him that bit of extra inspiration when there in the ring, i know if i was fighting away from home and i could here a few hundred people singing it to me i would get a buzz out of it. it is a bit cheesy but like someone said before everyone knows the words lol,

I dunno, Alan Minter's fans used to sing some rather obnoxious songs at certain fighters

It made me cringe when they used to do it with Hatton in the United States of Americaland, every feckin' press conference, the weigh in and the fight itself. Don't mind it over here though, like K-G says far worse has been and continues to be sung at fights.

It's hardly like anyone actually knows anything decent about the fighters to sing about is it?

The one chant i hate is 'EASY, EASY, EASY, EASY' Proper pisses me off. There arnt many easy fights and pisses me off cuz its like jinxing them its okay chanting that then there fighter gets caught flush and is ko'd,
