Just when you think boxing has reached its lowest point, they manage to bring things down even further.

Could you imagine UFC booking Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira to fight for world title next?

Of coure not, he lost 2 of his last 3 his last fighs so it makes no sense whatsoever and nobody would be interrested.

Its just common sense.

It will be closer than any of Vitali's fights in recent that's for sure. Chisora is top 10 in this era when he is on his game. We will see...

How did I give it to Helenius? I scored more rounds for him than Chisora. My card was 115-113. It was a close fight as Chisora had big moments but often couldn't sustain them, instigated a lot of clinches and didn't work them as well as he could have done and generally speaking in EBU fights you don't get as much credit for body work so beyond the sixth digging downstairs doesn't do you much good as it won't register.

The cards actually were a fair reflection when you take into account how they score in these types of contests. British guys can keep going over there, fighting the wrong type of fight, losing a close decision and bleat about it or figure out what the judges are looking for and give it to them.

It's not Strictly Come fvcking Dancing where you impress the judges. Your job is to beat your opponent. Chisora beat Helenius. It was fraud that he never won, absolute disgrace.

He fought Ayala for a vacant title after his loss to Barrera in their second fight. He fought David Diaz for the Lightweight title coming off the back of three straight losses and four in five (Pacman x 2, Raheem and Barrera III) and then he fought Cano for the vacant Light Welter title off the back of the Maidana loss (a fight in which Maidana was coming off the back of the Khan loss).

Some people (for example the judges at the actual fight) scored it differently than you - such as is life !

People like things that make sense, its how humans think.

Fighter X beats Top condenders Fighters Y, Z and V and is clearly the number 1 contender for the champion.

No probs, i understand that, i might watch it.

Fighter X loses to unheard of Fighter Y, beats journeyman Fighter Z and loses to Tyson Fury and gets a title shot.

Hmmmmm, that doesnt make sense, i might not watch it, in fact i know i wont, as i'm going to a monster truck show that day and wont be back till late.

Helen just stood there looking at him as if he had never seen a black man that close before. Chisora was robbed IMO, no doubt about it. You are in a small minority there. Are you a judge? Why would judges ignore body punches? Body punches are a fundamental part of boxing.

I was in the Ukraine a few years working with another contractor, who happened to be black. We turned up on-site on the 1st day and shook hands with everyone, usual stuff.

I sensed an odd atmosphere in the room, and one of them pipes up

"you know, thats the 1st time i have ever shaken hands with a black guy" said one of them.
