KHAN LOSING HIS MARBLES: 'PETERSON WAS ROBBED VS BRADLEY'

This is an incredible interview. What planet is this man on?

Just so we're all clear here - Khan's latest spin is that he obviously beat Peterson, but also Peterson was robbed against Ortiz and even BRADLEY, where he lost every round!!

This guy is unreal.

I've watched every Tim Bradley fight since he beat Witter. I'm not a fan of him, but I watch him. Anyone who claims Peterson won that fight or that it was in any way close has not seen the fight.

I don't think that Peterson's team would have come over to Khan and said "Don't worry Amir, we have been robbed too......". because they would be adamant that their guy won the fight. It's more likely that they said a version of what Khan is saying. They perhaps have a point over the Ortiz fight, but Peterson was down on the canvas twice i think early on. I can't comment on the Bradley fight because i didn't see it, but it looked a wide margin on Boxrec stats. What goes round comes round, Barrera was stopped in the 4th round through that cut so that Khan could get the decision, when his cut hadn't got worse since the 2nd round, but Khan and his team didn't complain or offer a re-match back then. Khan did enough to win the fight against Peterson, but had those two points deducted and that changed the overall outcome of the fight. It was unusual to have two points deducted and especially one in the last round, but it happenned and i doubt it will be overturned anytime soon. I think Khan himself would have kept quiet about it, but someone is pulling his strings to try and get the decison over turned, no doubt Golden Boy et al. Khan has to forget this fight, concentrate on improving his talent and look to the next opponent and if and when he gets a re-match Peterson, let his fists do the talking.

Basically yes. Bradley hurts him more than once and decks him. Peterson was always a live body in there but Bradley bossed it and did something better in every round. Good fight.

Hometown decision?

I had it 113/112 to Peterson. Khan was warned on AT LEAST (I was watching a DVD that my grandad sent me, thus it was on a crap disc with crap sound) before the first point off. The first KD wasn't a KD. Khan is a joke to claim robbery - I even think Cooper did good job.

I was more concerned with the 115/111 card.

Not saying I agree with him. I had Peterson by a single point. The irony is that we keep hearing about home cooking yet Amir was the house fighter from a promotional standpoint, he had his Team Khan logo above the ring. Now Oscar 'I'll only rematch you if I think I was jobbed but if you lose a close one it is adios' De La Hoya is on his white charger? Please.

Ha ha, sorry.

My post wasn't in reference to your post - I didn't even see it to now.

I mentioned hometown decision because that bell-end I call a fellow Boltonian keeps banging on about one.

And I don't mean the very racist Dark Destroyer.

Yep - this needs more looking into :TU:

Any future Khan opponent must demand this judge don`t get the call.

Ha, genius. That is also Amir Khan's nickname surely? Breidis Prescott, Marco Antonio Barrera and Marcos Maidana, what a list.

 at Peterson being robbed against Bradley. It doesn't get much more ridiculous than that.

FFS this is just getting unreal now, some people here must have nothing better to do then analyze every bowel movement Khan makes and feel they have to come on boxrec to make yet another thread about it.

It's pathetic actually.

I can't agree, dude. It was a very close fight, a fight in which I had Khan scrapping home by one point. The fact that it was close and that Khan was knocked in to next week suggests to me that a rematch is in order. Maidana not being banged to the floor in the 1st could cause Amir big problems in a rematch.

I'd certainly fancy Marcus in the rematch and to be honest I'd fancy Lamont to beat Khan again.

That body shot DEFINITELY took something outta Maidana in that fight, IMO. Body shots that are effective kill you, especially early ones. And that one was. The Khan that fought Peterson wouldn't beat Maidana. Of course Khan would stand a good chance against both men but his ego is stopping him from progressing.

Talk of the Mayweather fight went to his head.

Anyways, looking forward to Watford away next season?

Maidana and Peterson are limited and look at the bother they give Khan.

Scary really for a 'stylish boxer.'

I just wish Khan could fight like he does in the first 2 rounds of every fight for 12 rounds.

Imagine it.

Counter Puncher (tart) summed it up perfect when discussing Khan's in-ring IQ - he struggles with 'joined up thinking.'

Truest words ever spoke.

You either have a boxing brain or you don't. Khan doesn't. He's a robot who malfunctions if someone has the audacity to challenge him - to sort of borrow an analogy from David Haye.

Khan didn't come across well last night IMO. And that's ridiculous Bradely dominated Peterson, I think I gave him all but one round plus the knockdown. That was a brilliant Bradley performance

IBF have turned down the appeal, wouldn't suprise me if the WBA didn't sort something out for Khan

He can though, there's nothing wrong with his stamina. The problem is that he can't make adjustments, as well has having very little actual intelligence, he has very little ring intelligence. Peterson made an adjustment and Khan was clueless how to deal with it. I brought this up after the McCloskey fight, it took Khan an age to start landing punches on him. He's got a couple of stock fast combinations but if he can't land them he doesn't know what else to do. Peterson tore into him on the inside, if he'd obeyed the ref and stopped pushing him off I think he might well have been stopped.

I can't disagree with that.
