Brook smashes up Khan

What an arrogant ignorant tool Khan is.
Whilst it won't happen, a la Keegan I'd love it just love it if Kel smashed him to bits.

Not seen enough from Brook to suggest he can beat Khan..................

Too many people are now judging Khan as some kind of fake because he lost to Peterson and that really he is some kind of domestic level fighter that has been found out. He needs to work on his inside game and stick to a game plan. He had a bad fight against Peterson and look naive at times, but that suddenly doesn't nake him a bad fighter over night. From what i can see, Brook has yet to fight anyone of real quality and won't be able to expose Khan at this moment in time.

I think we're talking about his dillusional attitude outside the ring mate.
His dismissive comments about Brook were poor.
A kid makes his debut in the States ok against average opposition but clearly in the early stages he was nervous. Puts on a good performance.
Khan - should have done him in three minutes.

just watched there was pretty straight forward win , would be good to see him fight a name next

Indeed, it was a very unimpressive performance as far as I'm concerned. If that guy can hit him with right hand bombs and lead uppercuts anyone in the top five will hammer him. I'm not impressed with Brook at all. I think his win over MacIntyre is still his best as I thought Kevin would out box him but since then he looks poor to me.

Well it's only to be expected because there has been a war of words between them Twenty !!

You like Brook, i like Brook, i'd want him to beat Khan everyday of the week, but i don't want to overly praise Brook and needlessly under-rate Khan. Brook has the chance to become a very popular fighter, talented and a nice kid, where as Khan will never gain any popularity in this country and even Bradley and Mayweather have said that Khan isn't even popular in his own country and that says an awful lot.

Yeah it could be said to be a Sheffield saying

1 - Brook's opponent was awful, and im surprised he was at fighting at that level.

2 - Brook is not just another British boxer that he can simply get behind, Brook is a viable opponent that has taken his own personal digs at Khan in an effort to get a payday with him in the ring.

3 - Khan returned the favour, only difference being that Khan is in a much higher platform in the boxing world.

I think he said simply stated the facts. Galarza (sp?) looked like a deer stuck in the headlights and should have been put away earlier, other than that, a decent performance.

Other Boxers with "Potential rivalries" would have surely used much more confrontational language and downplayed their rivals performance.

I like Khan and Brook.

I think khan will probably stop the excuses before the rematch, right now I think he is trying to keep his stock up. I imagine the script will be 'I fucked up' very shortly before smashing Peterson in a rematch where he does all the things he should have done first time round (like not thinking he is dr iron chin and that will win him a fight).

Brook has been matched too easy but his last three fights have been impressive. I want to see him in with a proven contender so he can justify his world ranking. He can only beat those in front of him and he does that well.

So, one more fight each then a tear up in UK for the fans, can't see any uk boxing fan not tuning in to that.

nice post. Khan is still a special talent and at this stage too good for kell. but if kell keeps improving i can see his inside work and snappy combos being effective especially since he fights compact like peterson too. Khan for all his recent delusions, is a warrior to the core and will fight anyone....kell shouldnt be saying things like chicken...Khan will beat peterson next time, peterson fought out of his skin while khan had an off night

He hasn't fought any welterweights, as you well know, just some Malignaggi and Judah who have fought at welterweight, but dropped backed down to the 140lbs divsion. I personally think that his victories over Maidana, Malignaggi and Judah put him ahead of Brook at this time, even though Malignagee and Judah were over the hill. Khan has experience in world title fights and undoubtedly had better sparring than Brook in the shape of Pacquaio. I'm not saying Brook won't progress and get to a point where he can never take on Khan and be succesful, just not at this moment in time. Khan is still a very good fighter !!

Khan and Pacquaio ??

They have sparred each other for the past couple of years, but recently it was rumoured that Pacquaio's people had instructed him to stop sparring with Khan. I can even remember an interview with Khan saying there was a weird atmosphere in Roach's gym over the issue.
