I agree - it hardly gives the impression that there will be a top opponent.

I would imagine that they are in negotiations with one or two potential opponents - maybe it is a way of putting pressure on one to sign ? (i.e. the date has been announced, if you don't sign within 24 hours on these terms we will go with somebody else ?).

Next question on FW bills - what are the odds that the opponent eventually announced will be the opponent on the night ?

Fonfara was taken out of the picture according to Francis Warren, Lee Selby will be on the same bill and oponents to be announced within a week.

Past form of the promotor says he be picked!

I bet the fighters that are announced won't be the ones that step in the ring come fight night, they always seem to pull out at the last minute and in their place you get a tomato can.

I know. Its pretty appalling and hardly fills you with confidence. The Promoter has done this type of thing fairly often, in the past and the opponent has been poor.
