Is Schaefer right?

There is nothing in the rules related to pushing - even excessive pushing isn't a foul
Always thought it was foul myself...

By making the comment he is effectively admitting that Khan was pushing.

I am sure that taking a shit in the middle of the ring during a round isn't in the rule book as a foul, but if Khan tried it I am sure he would be disqualified.
