I knew someone who knew him. He said Floyd Patterson's private persona was the same as his public persona.Bobby A. wrote:Did anyone here ever meet Patterson? He always came across as a real class act and gentleman.

The Cooper fight in '66 is my favorite Patterson fight. He finished his man very well and cleanly that night, something Ali couldn't do in two tries.
Nope.yancey wrote:Ray, aren't you a West Coast guy?

Good idea Tom.
Back away from him and try not to make eye contact.

D means "green with envy" don't you?
It doesnt. Unless you wear a huge, smart ass grin when you're green with envy, or you have Pseudo Bulba Affect, the emoticon is cheeky, not envious.raylawpc wrote:Irene, you do realize thisGoodnight, Irene wrote:Giancarly/Darling/Collie (am I missing any?) you realise youve essentially become a Granberry knock-off, dont you?D

A typical Irene moment.
I wonder, does she realise she has essentially become a Decagon knock-off.
Apart from her being in a wheelchair, of course.
A mighty cheap knock-off, one might add.Goodnight, Irene wrote:Giancarly/Darling/Collie (am I missing any?) you realise youve essentially become a Granberry knock-off, dont you?D
