My brother's missus is arranging a surprise 40th birthday trip for my bro to Las Vegas and she wants to book a fight too. Are there any confirmed fights in 2012 that she can book? Alternatively are there any close to being confirmed. Earlier the better in 2012 I think.........
Thank you

Andre Berto v Victor Ortiz on 11th February.
Furthermore, 5th May has been reserved for a potential Floyd Mayweather fight, but that's probably too late for you.

With Floyd in the slammer for 90 days, do you think this will still go ahead?

Getting tickets at an affordable price for a mayweather fight will be the killer. berto Ortiz would be decent.

I land in Vegas from NY on 4th May which is a day before Mayweather's proposed return, now that he won't be on the show does anybody know if a card on 5th may will still be going ahead?
To say that i'm GUTTED would be an UNDERSTATEMENT! :(

I've already booked up. I go on the 1st of may and come back on the 10th. Hope mayweather still fights. I think eithen if mayweather don't end up fighting I think a show will still be on that weekend.

There is always a fight card that weekend. For various reasons, it's the busiest boxing weekend of the year in Vegas.

you reckon if I book tickets and hotel now I'll be safe in assuming at least some sort of fights will be on?

I go to Vegas on the 3rd of October for 2 weeks - I have saved up a few hundred dollars hoping to catch a fight.
