Hi there,

I've cancelled the gym membership but still want to get in better shape whilst saving a few quid. I'm thinking specifically of exercises using just my own body weight. Someone recommended Charles Bronson's book 'Solitary Fitness' on another thread but i was wondering if there were any other books people could recommend? I've looked on amazon but there's a multitude of books with mostly mixed reviews and i don't trust any of the reviewers.

People seem much more knowledgeable here so any helpful suggestions would be gratefully appreciated :TU:

Thanks for the suggestions fellas, i've found some great stuff on youtube and am tempted by 'Gymnastic Bodies' :TU: Quick question Cletomex, did you buy the 5 dvd's that can be bought separately and if you did, do you think you could get by without them?

i did get the DVDs but haven't even viewed them yet. The book is plenty descriptive and has photos. And you could just youtube each of the exercises to see how it should be done if needed. You do need the rings though, or at least a pull up bar.
