Gene Tunney vs Sam Langford

A classic match-up between two of the best ever. I would have to go with Tunney in a close fight. Tunney had great footwork, great counter-punching skills, a 76" reach, and a great jab. To me he was way ahead of his time with the skills he had, and somewhat reminds me of the style of SRR. Never been KO'd, and was 65-1. Beat Jack Dempsey twice, and Harry Greb 4 times, among others. Although Langford would trouble him at times, Tunney wins by UD imo. Langford at the time had trouble getting title fights. He was aggressive enough and hit hard enough to make many at the time avoid him.
