Great fight,
Credit to you and Blake for taking the tough fights. He has continuelly been matched against good opponents and if he keeps performing well it will give him great experience when he steps up to World level.

Baff hasnt done too much of late and is overweight at the moment. In saying that he has a warm up fight in nz prior to this and will train hard im sure. Hopefully its a better result for him then the last time he ventured over there. Good fight if baff is on his game as he has one punch power but still see blake winning easy points or stoppage. The kid is good, fights anyone, has good angles and will only improve. If only aus boxing had more like him, willing to fight anyone and not worry about protecting his record.

2012 domestic matchups thus far. Australian boxing is certainly heading in the right direction.

Kirby v Brown
Nieman v Ammann
Fletcher v Mwetunga
Caparello v Baff

Theyre all fights that will let us know where these guys are and where they heading.

They are four great match ups right there, good to see Neiman fighting Ammann, a nice step up in competition. Kirby v Browne will be a crowd pleaser and a fight deserved of the Aussie title. Fletcher has his work cut out for him with local, Johannes Mwetupung, in a well matched national level bout and Blake Capperello stepping up to the plate again in a good national level match that should see him win by stoppage but not before a tough and competitive fight.

Mark Flanagan vs. Tyrone Jones for vacant OZ light heavy will also be good...come March

Have my doubts, if Caparello/Baff for PABA title will eventuate, which would make OZ light-heavy title vacant.

All these fights coming up early in 2012, when you consider that Geale and Dib are defending there Titles against good opposition early March it is a great start to the year.
