Vitali would fornicate up old Foreman pretty bad. Vitali has shown plenty of ability to stick and move if he feels in any way threatened, and he certainly isn't stupid enough to just stand still with Foreman if he can get away with potshotting him which others did.

Vitali wins a wide decision with Foreman's face looking like that dude from The Goonies.

Foreman in 92 is better than any man Vitali has ever defeated. There is no comparison, I would go with Foreman UD or cut stoppage win. Vitali certainly doesn't have the punch to get Foreman's respect, despite all his stoppages over never beens.

For real heavyweight punching power, compare Lennox Lewis vs a young, prime Shannon Briggs and Vitali vs an obsese, 40 year old Shannon Briggs.

Different class of fighters in the 90s to what Vitali has faced. Ironically his toughest fights were against an ancient out of shape 90s fighter in Lennox Lewis and an ancient, overweight Corrie Sanders who was never good enough to make a dent in his own 90s era!

Foreman will take him mark my words......an old Lewis tore the Ukranians face to shreds and Lewis's first port of call under E Steward was to get the young foreman video tapes out.......Old Foreman is a harder puncher (sans lewis) than anyone vitali ever faced, he has a better chin and will to win, and a better defence.....Vitali wasnt SRL or Camacho snr on his feet either...so I dont buy the in and out argument....its obvious vitali would try and fight him using the tommy morrison/holyfield/schulz blueprint of get in and out, move around and dont stand still....I still think Foreman walks him down and punishes him from angles he has never been hit with....Foreman would be marked up but his defence against a taller man would be even more effective.....around the 9th he pummels the big soviet out of there the same way he destroyed cooney.....in spectacular sudden fashion

I would agree with this.

Don't think GF would of took this fight.

But if he did it would of been very similar to the beating that Vitali gave Briggs with GF probably getting stopped around the 10th.

So, Vitali could not down or stop a fat 40 year old Shannon Briggs who has been down vs Daroll Wilson, Lennox Lewis, and Jameel McCline yet he's going to STOP George Foreman?

I think Vitali earns a decision here but mark my words it'd be competitive. I'd rate the best comeback George (probably the 91 version vs Evander) almost as good as the close to 38 year old Lewis who beat Vitali. His jab would give Vitali tons of problems but the 42 year old George didn't throw enough punches nor have quick enough feet to avoid Vitali doing his usual volume-punching victory. This would be much more like Vitali's win over Hoffman than a shot old Briggs, but Foreman would win more rounds than Hoffman did.

Vitali would be on the move, he has absolutely no chance of stopping George, zilch. I agree with Dempsey that he would win a competitive decision. George would have knocked Wlad out-brutally.

I have Vitali winning a decision in a competitive fight where both men are hurt at times. Foreman has a chance of a KO win, but I think Vitali's chin and size help him to stay upright and win a 116-112 like decision.

First of all just about any other ref would of stopped Briggs after the 9th round.

Secondly VK wasn't in his prime against Briggs. Before he retired he used to twist his hip into his punches more, and thus was a more punishing proposition.

And I understood it be VK in his prime vs GF (1992)

This is a bad match up for GF because the lean back style of VK would make GF miss and get countered so often. Also I don't see his cross armed defence working so well in this.

I don't think GF gets knocked down, but I can see his corner pulling him out, OR a points loss with a lot of swelling on his face.

If you need nine rounds and a ref's intevention to stop a 35,000-year-old, mummified SHANNON FUCKEN BRIGGS, you arent putting old Foreman away with a shotgun.

Ex-fuckin-zactly.

Klitschko fans truly are a strange breed. "Before he retired Klitschko twisted his hip into punches more & was more punishing"? What? Can anyone show me Vitali doing this versus Corrie Sanders and Danny Williams in 04?

I have tapes of Vitali from 96 and 97, he has always, ALWAYS been an arm puncher and never, NEVER been one for putting his body into shots ala Frazier, Shavers, Lyle, Tyson et al. At his size he probably just can't.

I think his kick boxing back ground could have something to do with it. It's just a different stance and weight displacement. It astounds me how many people think Vitali is a massive puncher because of his gaudy record against pathetic opposition. The guy can fight, but he isn't, and never has been an elite puncher.

You need to calm down!

I'm just expressing my opinion on a forum.

Also I'm not even a Klitschko fan!
