I HAVE STARTED TO TRANSFER SHOWS TO VHS TO DVD

by ERIC GUY
As most people will know, I have the largest private fight tape library in Europe, I have started to transfer the shows to DVD, when I started filming in 1987, they was Mickie Duff shows, then Barry Hearns, so if people are interested in buying them, I will be making a list in the next few weeks,
these shows contain the fights of, gary mason, rod douglas, jim mcdonnell, micky hughes, dave dent, gary jacobs, dave dent, derek angol, darren dyer, kirkland laing, etc, I started filming in 1987, and still film today, but its the older footage that people would be intersted in, as it the whole show, not edited,, some rare unseen fights, Eubanks, benn, naz wil follow,

Fair enough. I offered to do exactly that for a show in Doncaster or Hull about ten years ago and they said they'd got a regular guy already doing it, it was probably you ! I'd just bought two cameras and offered to do it for nothing for a bit of experience....

Eric, what's the best 3 fights you've ever seen live? Or rather, which did you enjoy the most? Can be for personal reasons or anything, just curious.

MachoMan09 wrote:Eric, in all seriousness, mate, I'd think long and hard about whether you are choosing the correct option. In my view, transferring your collection to old fashioned DVD is a totally pointless exercise. Far better to put them onto hard-drives.
The reason I am putting them onto DVD is that I can burn them off straight away, I cannot do that from a hard drive,

You could. Presumably the first DVD you write is from the hard drive?

Have you got a copy? Didn't you retire Dave Clarke on the undercard? Good victory if I remember rightly.
