i thinks its a good fight that will if groves win will see him leave the domestic title class of opponent and move on to bigger and better things.

Good fight, good test for Groves. His confidence must by sky high after the Smith KO. However, seeing their first fight and watching the build up to that (with the sparring) I think Anderson will always give Groves problems.... Groves DID stop Anderson last time (people seem to forget who actually won the fight) - so must start as favourite, but Anderson will have his moments.

Anderson certainly looks back on track after his last few fights and can really punch

with plenty notice this should be a cracking fight

Does anybody know when Groves and DeGale will be fighting next?

Can't see anything on the schedule for them. Would have thought, seeing as their last fights were cancelled, that they would have had something at least booked by now.

This could be a good fight, it looks like Groves is leaving no questions unanswered before taking on the big boys (obviously we all want to see him beat Degale again, but that will come when it's a 'Superfight' ).

He needs a good 8 or 9 rounds in front of the Brits before going abroad for belts I think, Groves probably wanted the Smith fight to last a bit longer.

I'm a Groves fan, but this still isn't enough to make commit to 6 months of repeats.

I don't think this is a step back for George. Kenny asked a hell of a lot of questions about him at 2 weeks notice and was unlucky to be stopped when he was. Their first encounter was one of the best domestic fights of 2010 and if this happens i'll be excited as hell about it, although very nervous as i'm a huge Groves fan! I would expect George to come through a very tough fight however and i agree with the person that said Kenny's style will always be a problem for George who was still getting caught by silly right hands from Paul Smith (who isn't as physically strong as Kenny).

He'd batter Karpency and maybe the great TBA (maybe) and is a worthy opponent.

Groves has already boxed and beat Anderson - he needs to be looking beyond the British scene.

Since their fight Groves has added the British title to add to his Commonwealth title, beating DeGale and Smith along the way.

In the meantime Anderson has had 3 fights against opponents with a combined record of 17-18-4

Don't mind this fight at all. Anderson gave a good account of himself in the last one and was stopped on his feet. I think he's a good fighter and deserves a rematch. If they fight in London I might as well have already bought a ticket. Be interested to see what's on the undercard too.

It may not be progress in terms of shooting up the rankings but in terms of learning, it definitely is. I think the combined record of Kenny's last 3 opponents says more about the unwillingness of the country's top domestic super middles to fight him. George is only 24 and is in one of the toughest divisions in boxing (and therefore shouldn't be rushed) and Kenny brings a style (big punching pressure fighter) that gave George fits that he needs to learn how to deal with more convincingly than he did last time.

Kenny might seem on paper to be a step back for George though anyone who watched them knows it's a big, big test for him and will show us whether George really has learned from the mistakes of the first fight. The Degale fight suggested yes, the Smith fight said no. Kenny has a bigger punch than Degale and is much bigger and stronger than Smith and cuts off the ring very well.

Add the fact that Kenny took the first fight at 2 weeks notice and apparently had a gentleman's agreement with Georges team that he would get a rematch and this fight has to happen.

2 two weeks notice for me the only reason kenny got beat i think we will see groves get stopped this time

I thought when the first fight was made that Anderson was scheduled to be fighting about a week after the Groves fight, so would have been in training anyway? I might be wrong though.
