very intersting indeed as whether the WBA say yes or no its wide open to what each fighter does next....

IF the WBA say no to the rematch the you will probably see peterson take on pacquaio or more likely bradley.....khan will probably move up in weight

IF the WBA say yes to the rematch then peterson might still say no...so wo does amir fight for the belt....well by all rights it has to be the regular champion...maidana....that means khan moving up to 147lbs then as he has no interest in fighting maidana again.....peterson will probably still fight pacquaio or bradley

This does not surprise me in the slightest. Peterson forgets that he agreed to give Khan a rematch, I guess he just hasn't got the testicles for it.

Peterson was extremely fortunate to be given that fight against Khan - even Lederman had the fight in Khan's favour and the American commentators themselves described it as "hometown cooking".

This was nothing more than a snatch-'N-grab victory for Peterson he will move on now and I would not be surprised if he takes an easy fight now. If pressed, he'll probably relinquish the WBA Title and continue on with the IBF Title - and try to angle a unification fight against Bradley somewhere down the line, probably later this year.

If Khan does have a title fight for the WBA Title - I have my fingers-crossed that they select Devon Alexander as his opponent, that should be an entertaining fight to watch.

Peterson has nothing to complain about, he robbed Khan and will probably keep the IBF Title for this injustice...

God, I hope the IBF order an immediate rematch. Fingers-crossed.

Khan didn't do enough in the fight to win it, regardless of all the shenanigans. I thought it was very close, but a fair result.

I don't agree with rematch clauses, but you have to look at the way Khan's team handled it, considering it was a voluntary defence. It was probably all about getting Peterson to accept a lower purse.

I think Khan's team make some strange decisions. Catching pennies and missing pounds.

It was a close fight that could have gone either way. Even if you scored it to Khan, you have to admit that other people are entitled to watch the fight and form a different view. In a close fight such as this, to call it a robbery is to distract from true robberies in boxing such as Chisora v Helenius.
