Looks like Lee could be off the Macklin-Martinez bill and fighting Sturm on April 28 in Germany!

i figured the high risk, low reard fight with quillin was probably not to lee's liking.

given that sturm has struggled vs british/irish opponents, and lee has fought in germany before, it does make some sense.

might be a tough fight to negotiate, though.

Felix has a penchant for Brits at the mo - he'll scrape this one too no doubt.

After a close win then a draw i'd fancy Lee maybe to beat sturm. I wouldnt say Sturm was on the slide but he's there for the taking.

Lee isn't as good as Macklin or Murray, and even though Sturm is on the slide I still fancy him to win a close decision

Lee is not very good at all, very very lucky against Craig Mcewan.

Right - but not a Brit as 'Roars like me' implies......

I think even if he was Northern Irish, he could not be considered 'British'???? I'm not sure, I find the whole Union thing confusing

Politics and religion dont mix mate. The fact is, someone born in the state of northern ireland is an Irishman. They may well consider themselves British in addition by thats purely political.

Correct. Northern Irishmen are British but they are predominantly Irishmen i would think. I think he was born in East London maybe? But Irish parents.

King Geedorah wrote:Sturm will score a stoppage. He is on the slide but landed accurately against Macklin and Murray, both of whom are tougher than Lee IMO. RSF 8-12 if Sturm's got anything left.
Not sure KG. Agreed he landed some really good clean shots over both fighters esp Macklin. But Lee looks pretty tough may be a distance fight.

He had both going late on in the 12th, Lee's more vulnerable in my view and will be a sucker for the right hand. I'd prefer a stoppage either way as Sturm could win it clearly by 8-4 and people will still cry robbery.
i think after Sturms last 2 fights the robbery card will be a bit worn out.

I must be in the minority that likes Lee in this one. I also don't think Strum was lucky in either of his two previous fights

Am hoping for it to be a nice blend of styles but Lee's higher workrate and extra power should see him win. A late stoppage for Strum can't be ruled out but overal my money would be on Lee. For me he is a better fighter than Murray (not sure what to make of Macklin at the moment and maybe think he'll be knocked out during the first 3 against Martinez)
