Is Barry Mcguigan putting to much pressure on Frampton ?

I like Carl frampton very much and believe British and European titles are within his grasp in the next Year or so, I just feel that every time I hear Barry speaking about him I get a sense of over confidence ! He obviously knows frampton better than most and is promoting him as well as training him along the way, I just hope Carl isn't pressured into pleasing Barry to much and forgets about the tough wars he may be in on the long hard road to glory ?

Barry has an obvious stake in bigging Carl up though Frampton is an excellent prospect. I'm not too sure if Frampton feels the expections as 'pressure'; I am sure as an ambitious fighter he piles the most pressure on himself.
Though I have only seen Frampton box once and Quigg twice I do feel that Quigg has the mobility and variety to win well.how Willie Quinn would do though.

He does seem to be putting pressure on Frampton, but he is just doing it to get his name out there. He needs to stay well clear of Quigg otherwise he's loosing his '0'.

What happened to the other fighter Barry was managing (or am I dreaming it). A later starter to the pro ranks..... he had one fight on Sky and he looked superb, then he I believe he laboured (and looked sloppy) and may have got a draw (or a tad lucky win) in his next fight.
Am I imaging that McGuigan was managing a guy before Frampton?

AHHHHHHHHHHHH When you state it like that.......yep it was him. Sky made no reference to it in prizefighter. Is Barry still involved?

well said billy. My mate mickey covenny was sparring Carl last week & said he was a great little fighter . Barry was a brilliant fighter & I for one hope they go all the way. Though quigg is also top drawer . Good fight, maybe in a while after both accomplish world class

Saw him against Turley and wasnt too impressed. No doubt he's very talented but i think Quigg at this stage would have too much for him. Barry obviously thinks he can go far though.
