That's what Calloway is saying over in the Current Scene.

Was supposed to be fighting Tillman then again rob probably wouldn't mind another trip down Under and a canvas bed to lay on!

I'm told Tillman has a fight with SBW and then Sol Haumono booked in. Calloway's last performance down under saw the best Heavyweight fight of the decade on these shores.

De Mori has been more successful lately. Also has advantage of being 13 years younger than Calloway and physically bigger.

A good second fight back for Mark.

Welliver next would be good, or even Mensah given his performance, it has to be in Australia though :bag: .

Is it that so long ago (24th June 2005) that Rob spotted Big Bob Mirovic 55 pounds in out-pointing a game Bob, who fought on with a broken jaw in one of the better fights of 2005!

In recent years, Rob has become a journeyman and has been stopped 4 times in his last 7 bouts, since 27th September 2008. Shannon Briggs stopped Rob in 1:38 in round 1 0n 28th May 2010 in a bad loss and in his last fight over in China, Rob was barely about to win a round off Chauncey Welliver on 3 October 2011.

Rob Calloway has the skills but his age will tell against him against Mark in a fight that will confirm that Mark has the potential to take on bigger fish.

Demori vs Mensah would be a great fight. Mensah would fight in AUS for the right $

It probably would be. I don't know how many promoters would be willing to shell out $ to a guy that walked out of the ring in his last fight, though.

Mensah is no quitter. Was giving Chauncy a pummeling but after 2points was taken off unfairly he seen the writing on the wall. Another time he was going to be cheated in boxing. He would be a great fight for Mark Demori.

What an awesome weekend of HW boxing in Australia with this and Alex's the next day.

Say what you want about Calloway and his record of late, should be a great fight to see where Mark is at

Hopefully Mark's right and Calloway isn't ready for his ribs to be rocked. May 30 can then give Mark the shot he has been waiting for his whole life
