Do you mean its a joke in terms of the opponent? Seems like a standard comeback fight. The guys had a few fights, lost the majority, but has never been stopped, therefore will give him rounds to shake off the rust but shouldn't pose much of a threat

What was the problem wi Millarvie? Was it injuries with his eyes or summit?

Apparently hurt his leg @ work and pulled out of prizefighter after already pulling out the first one , was then dropped by tommy gilmour who thought he was a bottle job as he d pulled out a load of fights previously , allegedly

Cheers mate. I do remember him pulling out of a fight i thought it was his eyes though no sure why.

There were, at one point, fears that he had either a blood disorder (not anything that would see him banned by a board, more an iron deficiency or something) or maybe even a form of diabetes?

I'm not trying to spread rumours, I jusr remember reading something along these lines in the Daily Record when I was having my lunch one day around the time he was having his 5th/6th fight!
