Thought he was a bit out of order saying frampton was being turned into some kind of Junior Witter for my money Hatton did swerve witter though I'm no fan of witter I do think he deserved a shot it was a bad reference for joe to make he made himself look silly and bitter as Barry Mcguigan countered with its about the fighters not us does seem to like the limelight given skys little montage at the end of fight night its in their sights and would be a cracker I think frampton nicks it

I think he meant that Frampton is always mentioning Quigg. For my money Frampton won't win this.

Quigg should beat Frampton...but I'm not a fan of Gallagher's. He certainly left John Murray out a round or two too long against Rios and I didn't like the hype he was getting a few years back when his fighters were generally winning fights they were expected to win whilst he was building up some "record" as a trainer.

Ditto, he is an attention seeker bigtime, I've never had a good vibe off the guy and his advice in the corner is usually rotten. That undefeated record that he 'cultivated' was a joke.

To be fair going 40 odd fights is excellent albeit not against top level opponents

Hatton never fancied the witter fight so that's hope quigg and frampton are not hatton witter 2

Sky are as responsible as anyone in this. Their presenters/pundits cannot mention Quigg/Frampton without mentioning the other.

And that is a good thing. Sky should be looking to force the fight. We don't need to see Frampton vs Booth or Quigg vs Hughes next.

I think the rivalry is good but for a manchester trainer to dig out frampton as a witter suggests that they will try to swerve him and cheat the fans of a decent contest.

Also during that unbeaten run when confidence was high it appeared that fighters from that stable would fight anyone as their level of sparring was better than any of their opponents it seems now that Gallagher after some a seris of stories from credible sources have detracted from the image of the trainer he wanted us to think he was has taken to berating legends .

Also agree Murray took far too much hammer and should of been pulled before the ref jumped in

I agree, even if my initial post did quite not read as such.

Has Rendall Munroe become an afterthought in all this...how about more mention of a Quigg v Munroe fight? I'd sooner see that at this moment in time than Quigg v Frampton.

Frampton vs Booth is a good fight and it would be a step up for Frampton. Quigg vs Hughes would be a joke of a fight.

I think Quigg beats Frampton. Joe Gallagher is a very good trainer, alas not many people like him.

Joe Gallagher is having his moment in the sun so I don't mind him enjoying it. At the moment he has a fresh, vibrant stable with plenty of talent but history tells us it rarely lasts. A few year's ago Buddy McGirt was the man, and I recall the Calzaghe stable had a purple patch with Rees, Lockett, Macca, Pryce all enjoying success alongside Joe...at the moment Freddie Roach's gym is buzzing.

Swings and roundabouus. Gallagher is enjoying the ride.
