Jack Johnson's opinion would have been on Muhammad Ali? The man and the boxer? Positive, negative?

I think he likely would've taken a fond interest in Ali because they were reminicent of one another in certain definite ways. Johnson would've seen Ali as a modern version of himself. He would've admired the qualities of Ali. His defiace,boldness,confidence,and obviously his personality and most of all,his extra-ordinary superhuman skills inside the ring.

He would've said he doesn't compare to Corbett and the greats of the past. Johnson was very jaded.

I wouldnt call his skills super-human. Do you mean his TALENT?

He probably should feel the way Goon outlines, but probably WOULD feel what you say here.
