You've seen Harry Greb fight too?

Its hard to pick a guy youve never seen fight over someone as great as Hagler...but its even harder for me to imagine Hagler beating Tunney.

Great picks, and a very difficult choice but Greb Hagler for me, with Harry winning on points. Like many others I wish for the day that a Greb fight on tape is discovered.

Greb was not human he beats Hagler imo

For me it's Sugar Ray Robinson vs Carlos Monzon.

I would have paid big money to watch the great Sugar Ray in his prime and a fight against Monzon would have veen entertaining...

I would like to see Robinson vs Monzon. And I see Monzon winning.

Nay, but my dad saw the Greb/Tunney massacre at MSG in 1922...And all MWs until 1960. S,what about you ? To see Monzon beat Robinson would not bring me joy.....though I'm nearly certain it would happen. You are pitting the greatest Welterweight against the greatest Middleweight. However, Of these it would be the fight that would be the most interesting.

Bobby Czyz won titles at Light Heavy, Cruiser and won fights at Heavyweight. Does that mean he beats hagler at Middleweight?

I'm quite aware of Greb's career standing. I can read too. Again, get over yourself. Hagler was as complete a fighter as the sport has ever seen. You're treating him like an also ran. Why don't you get off your high horse and give credit where it is due?

fighting FOUR times as many bouts as Hagler [who was great too], is relevant to this post. Sir it is you who is on your "high horse", with all due respect.
P.S. Greb , old and fading, still kicked the hell out of the great Mickey Walker, one year before Greb died
way past his prime....

I'm new at this website and i take boxing seriously. I revere our top fighters of history, yes my idol Harry Greb ,and also Marvin Hagler of recent years. So S, I don't know where you are coming from and if you are just joshing with me, let me know as I too have a sense of humor...

It wasn't fine with you, you said in your dreams and Greb can't be KO'd and he once beat a giant named Goliath so there is no way that a tiny, tiny midget like Marvin hagler could possibly compete with him and I should respect Harry more than picking a scrub like hagler over him when he has never even fought a giant.

Perhaps a new poster should get his bearings about a place before assuming a position on a high horse. Either way I treat everyone equally poor, so no need to feel picked on.
