If Duran had not been around this would probably have been the biggest lightweight fight.

Buchanan between '70 and '73, after then Dejesus wins.

This woul've been a great match. Both of them were skillfull and quickhanded fighters. But I got my vote on Buchanan, which I think woulg have gave DeJesus enormous problems with that quick left jab. Buchanan was so awesome that the same Roberto Duran did not want to give him a rematch.
DeJesus though even that he beat Duran by decision, had many flaws. His best puch was the left hook and Buchanan, a master of boxing cleverness, would have avoided DeJesus' left hook. I do not think that Esteban would've cope with Buchanan's hand speed and accuracy.
