The safest prediction is it wouldnt last long. Hard to pick who goes down first, but I favour Benn to win by early KO but thats just a guess. Mugabi was ruined by Hagler so when he fought other world class fighters (Thomas, McClellan, Norris) he was already shopworn so its hard to know how he would have fared at top level when he was in his prime

I admire your excellent choice in picking the prime Mugabi with the best version of Benn at 160....man that was a star studded era for the 160 lb ranks that no one on here has even thought of this match....lol a part of me would have liked to have seen Benn demolish the faded shot Mugabi Mclellan and Norris bombed out just to see if the kayo would have been any more hilarious....that was an insanely talented era when a beast like mugabi could be usurped by powerpunchers like mclellan, norris and jackson and u had guys like hearns and barkley and benn around too....

Anyway to the fight....I think prime mugabi beats that Benn....Mugabi in his prime had a great chin and punch...and i could see him taking benn out around round 7 or 8.

I would favour Benn to win by an early KO

Benn by KO.He has a better chin than Beast

Benn to survive a shaky start and stop a gassed Mugabi in the middle rounds.
