Ryan Rhodes v Sergey Rebchenco !!!!

Who wins guys ??? Ryan has the skill,power,experience Sergey has power and youth. Although the younger has a excellent record of 19 fights 14 by way of KO no losses he has yet to fight anyone like Rhodes this is Ryans last shot (or is it ) I just think he can still do the impossible if hurried to be a world champ.... Ryan wins in 6,7,8 IMO

Only seen Rebchenco once and that was against Pryce and he was'nt overly impressive if Rhodes has still got the hunger he should win a wide points descion

The Bradley Pryce of three years ago would have taken Rabchenko to school. Ryan boxes his head off no problems at all

Either Rhodes landslide points victory, or late stoppage (dependent on how tough Rabchenko is or how long his corner keeps him in for)

Rabchenko is certainly hightly regarded by his team.
However I think that experience is the key here.
Rabchenko's record gives nothing away, and this is a major step up for him.
Too much at stake for Rhodes who simply has to keep winning.
Mid to late stoppage in favour of Rhodes.
I think when Rabchenko runs out of ideas, he'll get careless and that's when Rhodes will pick him off.

..... he must be some sort of hidden secret then if he's in the Alvarez league.
I can't see anyone with the power of Alvarez going eight rounds with a fighter with 44 losses on his card - ie his last opponent.
Also can't see if that was the case, that he'd go the distance with Bradley Pryce.
Anyway all will be revealed on 24-03-12.
Oh - you do realise that Mr Rhodes can dig a bit ?
It will be interesting to see how he reacts when Rhodes connects - which undoubtably he will.

Alexey,
Do you honestly think Rabchenko has been tested by a fighter at Rhodes level before ?
No one's doubting he has a chin based on his record so far, but I don't think he's taken any meaningful shots like those that Rhodes will deliver.
Makes for a good match up this.

No one is fooling themselves.
Ryan is 35 now and I personally think the odds are reasonably long on him getting another shot at World level but this is boxing and you never know ;;-)
First things first though.
He didn't lose this title in the ring and he wants it back.
He's only got the one defeat on his card at Light Middle.
Even if it transpired that he didn't get beyong European level, he's not done at all bad.
IBF and WBO Intercontinental, British twice, WBC International, EBU - shortly to be twice !
I think there's a few British boxers who wouldn't mind having achieved that.

Twenty six, i honestly think that if Sergey was not so confident in himself, he would never take this fight.
Rabchenko fought vs very tricky n classy Bradley Price for example. On our russian speaking boxing forums ppl think that Rabchenko really can win this fight, though he had some lack of british sparring partners (cuz he hits very hard lol). And no disrespect for Ryan of course - he is a solid boxing wolf, no doubt. Fightin Rhodes Rabchenko is makin a really big step up. We will see what will happen.
