Hi All, this is my first post so please go easy. I'm a massive Price fan and think he is the best heavyweight in the uk at the moment and was very disappointed when "chicken" Fury ducked him this week but after reading alot of the articles on him is he and maloney dining out on Fury's name, surely he should forget about fury and move on.

As i said please go easy on me

the Sam Sexton fight makes sense get british & commonwealth, or another heavyweight up and coming, Richard Towers, David Howe, Chisora after he loses Vitali, even Audley Harrison be a good match up.

Step up to European then eventually World honours

Needs to be tested at a higher level now

Sam Sexton is an okay opponent for now. I'd like to see Price fight some ranked contenders (not the top ones yet) and BoxRec top 15-50 HWs during the rest of the year.

Alex Leapai, Carlos Takam, Manuel Charr, Franklin Lawrence, Maurice Harris or Kali Meehan would be okay for the rest of this year.

Then in 2013 he should fight top 10 HWs.

Sexton is a good opponent at the mo, an ex champion still in his peak years and Price has not proved himself in domestic championship class yet

price is on a mission to big thing i reckon winner of him v sam shojld fight towers then the best go on to euorpe level

Sexton certainly has more work rate and chin than anyone Price has fought so far in my opinion. Plus he is coming off the back of a win. So it is a step up for Price and you can't ask for more than that.....well you can ask for Fury v Price, but never mind.

why should he fight towers?? towers has done nothing, sprott would be a good test or rogan

Because its a fight people want to see, had 12 Won12 KO'd 9.. Price had 12 Won 12 KO'd 10 Why Not???

I'd like to see him mixing with with European level guys, or former Euro level title holders. Audley, Sosnowski and maybe even Dimitrenko.

Hi scottyp welcome to the forum, fury and his team know full well that the right hand from price would knock fury spark out. Why would they want him ?

Fury is nothing short of ball-less , hasnt even got the bottle to defend the most prestigious belt in britain , he should be ashamed , Price would murder him in 2 rounds , calls himself a fighting man....PATHETIC. Hope he gets fookin chinned big time soon.

Where does price go next though? Larry O and Sexton, IMHO, did not look like they had put themselves in the shop window with their fight. Dallas and McDermott have been recently dispatched, Chisora won't want to fight at that level again. Who else has the name and recent form to justify the fight?

When do our British-level fighters ever get a decent C'Wealth or otherwise foreign opponent? European is a possibility but not against Helenius, he'll never step up again.

We can only hope. Pulev v Dimtrenko for EBU is scheduled for 31 March the winner of them be good.

Price needs to fight European class fighters to get him ready for the world scene. He is a very good fighter who could do well by simply bypassing the domestic scene.

Anyone else feeling a bit dispirited just by reading that? With the exception of Rogan, perhaps. Its like we're still in 2005.

It could be argued that European level is world level in the heavies.

Earlu on with Pulev's career I thought he was very special...though I'm not sure any more, Walker made him look pretty meh IMO

I don't think he is very special ( tbh I don't think there are any special fighters coming through at heavy, Wlad is the only special fighter in the division ) but I don't see many that would beat him.

Glazkov is worth giving a fair bit of time too. The Bulgarian/Russian who debuted on Wednesday has a lot of promise and Bogdan Dinu looks fantastic (but he's almost certainyl going to become a "lost talent")
