McCloskey v Woodhouse might be a very good fight, as Woodhouse will come and force it. Problem is that there are no big fights there for McCloskey right now, but there could be later this year. If Khan beats Peterson and moves up, McCloskey could get a title shot

Not a fan of this fight me tbh.
I really wanna see Curtis get that British title chance, I just think McCloskey is a clear level above that, I hope I'm wrong but think McCloskey wins this one and it doesn't really do much for either fighter.

Thats one way of looking at it yes, but if Curtis wins, its a great GREAT win for him and I certainly wouldn't write him off.

yeh mate exactly i just hope i get the chance to get over there and support Curtis. Its a fight i want to see because as you said with the Gavin fight, i think a few people may get a surprise.

I agree guys and I certainly aren't writing Curtis off but he did lose to Gavin still (even though he surprised and proved a lot of people wrong) but losing fights isn't gonna get him nearer that British title even if they are tough fights, I'd rather see him fight someone on domestic level to get him nearer that Lonsdale shot - Steve Williams, Jason Cook etc.
I realise though Curtis is a proper warrior and will fight anyone which is why I have so much respect for him, I just want to see him win that Lonsdale more than any other boxer and think that maybe a better way than fighting McCloskey.
Really hope he proves me wrong though and beats McCloskey though, I know you can do it Curtis!

Its a disappointing fight which if promoted by you know who would have everyone on here rushing to the keyboard.
However, as its promoted by Eddie Hearn its ok.

I too think this is a very winnable fight for Curtis. As has been said, he will force it and McCloskey will have to fight for every round to ensure the win.
For those saying that this won't get Curtis nearer a British title shot should think about how bad this could make McCloskey look. He will undeniably be the favourite but he could end up looking bad here and put him back.
A close points decision either way.

Any ideas about Prizefighters's line up? Only Irish and Northern Irish Middleweights? Or Walsh, English and Scotish also in the biz?

I see what you're saying.
However, McCloskey is supposed to be World Class and he's fighting a guy who (yet) has not proved he can win a British title so for me its a step backwards for McCloskey.
I should say Yes its an 'interesting' fight but I maintain a disappointing fight.
I should add that this is in now way disrespect to Curtis Woodhouse who has shown he has balls beyond belief but if were McCloskey I would wonder about this.
Happy to be proved wrong though fellas

murder on twitter between two of the potential entrants into the Prizefighter, Joe Rea and Anto Fitzgerald. Anyone see it? Hilarious stuff.
