If you've never heard "Fighting Talk" on Radio 5 with Colin Murray the contestants are given 20 seconds to defend an impossible statement. In our version on here, you will be given a statement to defend (make your defence a few sentences), then leave one your self for someone else to defend.

For Example. Person 1 leaves an indefensible statement and person 2 defends it and leaves one for person 3...etc.

To start with:

"I (you) feel allegedly has gotten it spot on for Nathan Cleverly, Thomas Karpency will really bring the best out of him and the bout is a true 50-50, the winner will have proven themselves the best in the Light Heavyweight division"

I'll bite being a Fighting Talk fan

Of course it is both men are rising stars at 175lbs and it is a competitive division and whoever wins should have the opportunity to fight the big dogs in this division.

Next up.

Bob Aryum is right, it is all about the money and not the fans because they are suckers and will cough up $60dollars to watch JCC fight a stiff.

Too true, boxing fans want the opportunity to see their favourite boxers and understand the financial situation the world is in. You put on a 50/50 fight between 2 top 10 guys or a fight between superstar A and a 20 ranked fighter and tell me which makes more money.

Sonny bill Williams winning his national title is great for the sport and in no way belittles it

SBW has the physique and the looks to be a star, people don't want to see these fat ugly blokes getting knackered after 6 minutes. He totally deserves to be the main boxing story on the bbc website and long may it continue. Everybody loves a first round knockout and that is what he has delivered, the sky is the limit and I don't mean PPV. The more press the sport gets the better for everyone.

If Herbie Hide would have bested the smaller heavyweights of the 60s and 70s

Of course he would. he had the speed and power to give all the greats problems and would have even knocked them out the Greatest and Smokin Joe and would have performed pugilistic comestry surgery on Jerry Quarry and Oscar Bonavena.

The mere fact that Hunt termed such activity as "The breakfast of champions" immediately confers a massive strength & agility bonus to all who indulge in this practice, particularly if it occurs before acts of manly endeavour. Scientists are mystified, but have wittered something along the lines of "Uh, increases your, um, testosterone. Maybe?"
