My name is Stewart Boyce and I'm originally from Wolverhampton, I worked in Canada where I had a few amateur fights but due to lack of work I now find myself working in Renfrewshire near Glasgow, Scotland.... I have been considering turning pro for a few months now and was just wondering who the best trainers up here are.... I would appreciate if you guys could give me any suggestions....

Im From Paisley Mate , ,my Bro Kevin Mcintyre is Pro with Saltire Boxing in Paisley

Trainer is collin Belshaw , he has a few pros , Craig Dickson , Ryan Brawley , Kris Carslaw and others

Alternativley there is Norrie sweeneys gym who has Stephen Russell , Craig Kelly , Mcilroy Bros

i trian there now just to do a bit as i used to box Amateur with him.

Can only echo Gazmac's comments but also thought id add that Norrie Sweeney has a promoters licence also.

It always worries me when 'fighters' come on here looking for this sort of thing.

If people are kiddin themselves on they wont be long getting found out so i prefer just to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.

im a porn star and been over in America but looking for something based in Uk

possibly the coatbridge Area

can you recomend anything ?

Okay so there's a guy called colin Bellshaw who is close to me that could be good, is billy nelson WBO champ Ricky Burns' trainer?

yea to be honest i just saw on my Bros Facebook that he was asking him for Bit of sparring for preparation for the fight against Gavin next week

I think I'll do lightweight I'm around 10 stone 3 pounds right now, I would love to train with billy nelson though as he seems to be producing the goods, No disrespect to Colin Bellshaw. How could I contact billy?

There's an interview with him on the boxing news website. He had a knee operation which menas it looks like the end for him.

I would be more interested in whether Nelson would take you before you start picking him over Belshaw!

Well I believe I'm a good fighter, I was good enough to go to the states and box for bob Arran if i wanted, so I think that speaks for itself, I believe I could be the next best lightweight to come out of Britain. I think mr nelson would love to work with me you cheeky pudendum

who is your manager? A lot of the time it isint just about talent,its about how many tickets you can sell aswell .

As i said, doesn't take long to find people out.

OMG a fighter who Bob Arum is chasing and he needs to go on a public boxing forum to find a manager/trainer.

All genuine fighters have other friends who fight, have plenty of contacts from the time they spend in the gym, there should be no problem in finding someone.
