They're an hour ahead of us in Germany, so if the main event's at around 10, it'll be 9 here. I'm going to try and be in the pub for 8.30 just in case.

Hopefully your pub showing it! Its 10pm its goes live on 5 live. Its calshing with channel 5 bill.

Doubt they will be fighting before 9.30 probably 10

Usually always 10pm for the German bills...then a 20 min ring walk with all the live bands and anthems etc, they sometimes even play the ref's national anthem too, which borders on madness.

Fallen out of love with boxing lately after a lifetime of loyal service including my own amateur career and attendance at 34 world title fights. But I subscribe to Sky Sports, only for boxing, and also the allegedly channel and occasionally still post.

Quite up for this fight, BUT is it pay per view or part of my monthly subscription to the channel? I have had it since the start and watched it about 5 times so will be mighty peed if I have to pay for one of the only fights that interests me

Know what you mean, Toby. I don't pay for a sub because most of the fights I want to watch are further PPVs, and then so many fights we'd like to see continue to go unmade. People tell me the British scene's not too bad, but then of course I can't follow it without a sub.

I'd be more than happy to pay £5-10 per month for a non-PPV channel with a quality match every 6-8 weeks. But regardless of the TV coverage and cost, top-level fights haven't been that frequent for years.

5live coverage starts at 9.45. allegedly is free till 9.30 when it encrypts.

encrypts? does that mean only subscribers can watch it or that everyone including subscribers have to pay? Is it pay per view??

the old lidls multi european satellite dish works a treat!!..cost 60 quid a couple of years ago, included dish and box and all cables etc etc.

You can get RTL with a Sky dish but you have to point it at a different satellite. Since most dishes are fixed pointing at the new Astra position you can't get it. So the short answer is no.

It is not ppv,it will be free untill 9.30 so they can encourage more people to subscribe then it will encrypt for subscribers only
