I was living with a mate prior to Christmas and ordered allegedly to his Sky setup. I've recently moved to my own place and obviously want to transfer my allegedly subscription to my own Sky setup, but the cowboys at allegedly are unable/not willing to do this despite my mate consenting to the change and the payment details being in my name.

I asked them if I could cancel my current subscription and then rejoin, but I was warned that I'd have to payout the rest of the 6 months that I signed up for on the original deal I've been a fan of allegedly and want to support the channel, but I flat out refuse to subscribe to it twice, so allegedly can kiss my red rosy ass as I'll be finding an alternative viewing method

....and the bloke I spoke to on the phone was a prick

What a piddle take. Surely this is standard procedure if someone moves house. Might be work trying again to see if you get through to someone a bit more understanding than gthe prick who had to endure. Failing that this is a Franny Wazza PR own goal that would make even Boxing Chat blush.

Cancel it at your bank and tell them to whistle for it. Means you won't be able to resubscribe though.

Ridiculous really. I recently moved house and was under my 12 month contract term with SKY, who happily came out and installed a new dish etc. in my new house when I moved.

I just did a ring around of a few of the pubs in my area that usually show boxing to see if any were showing the Chisora fight and not a single one have subscribed to allegedly, not even the sport bar that shows everything. That is not a good sign for the channel at all.

I would cancel with the bank, explain why, and never give money to a company that didn't value my custom again.

Wouldnt be a prob to cancel , they couldnt charge you as a breach of contract anyway as theyve failed to live up to their side , youve moved house its not as if you were phoning to cancel , for them to say no is in my view a breach , they couldnt claim a penny from you .

The image of those IRA prisoners, full beard, long hair, wrapped up in vaguely Jesus style robes, smearing their excrement on their walls was at the front of my mind when i wrote that.

In fact that image is nearly always at the front of my mind, which probably means im due my therapy sessions again.

Bobby Sands was a very, very brave and commited man to his cause. Hero is not too strong a word for him.


He did, however,spend the last few weeks of his life rolling around in his own excrement.

I cancelled my subs by cancelling my paywizard payment. No additional money was taken and I got an email off BN confirming the cancellation of my account and looking forward to me rejoining. It'll take a little while to work through, but it wasn't a problem for me doing it.

Yeah I did the same, I lost my credit card so paywizard stopped working and BN cancelled - not too worried as the BN quality over Jan has been piss poor. I'll watch Chisora on RTL tonight instead. But could well re sign up, if BN ups it's game.
Let's see if they show the Rios fight for example.

I was on Sky and cancelled my subs after 2 months. There has been no problem.
