Yes, you can see him getting hit with the tripod quite clearly. I don't think the likes of Haye and Booth have any place in the sport, having tried to disrupt the press conference like that. That was surely a time for Vitali and Del to reflect on the boxing match they had just had, one with a lot more to it than Hayes effort against Vlad.

I hope the authorities can see Del's retort for what it was, a response (albeit a stupid one) in the face of childish provocation, and that no charges are brought against him. Also it ways a lot about Haye to see him running away and having to grab a weapon for protection.

That's the second time Haye has gone and ignored Adam ( The Dark Lord ) Booth's master plans in Germany.

The first time, against Wlad, he does everything perfectly, but then forgets to throw any actual punches.

Then the second time, he goes and beans his own trainer over the head during the carefully planned press conference heist.

It's like Abbot and Costello...

Haye is a prat who should not be given his license back and Chisora seems to have a screw loose... the difference between the two is that Haye planned the fracas up to the point when Del boy approached him, and then he literally bottled it when he thought Del might slap him. Lets hope David didnt hurt a toe as he ran away into the night...

wow you don't know what you're talking about, Haye stood his ground and took on Chisora and his whole crew by himself and was clearly just defending himself.

Well against someone like Chisora it is who had already slapped and spit in peoples face..Delboy got what he deserved.

Haye and Booth got pissed up and went to wind an idiot up. Better than a quiet night in, I suppose.

Let's be honest DC is walking towards DH and as he is approaching him takes his coat off, now in real life anyone who has threatened to give someone a slap and then takes his jacket off as he is walking towards said person is just asking for trouble. There was more chance of DH damaging his own hand in with the bottle in reality. I think both are out of order

I agree both were out of order. I just don't think Haye was purely trying to defend himself. Chisora hadn't cocked his arm or anything when Haye threw the bottle punch. They are both an embarrassment.

Sounds to me like it was made quite clear to Haye that Chisora was going to pull the slap stunt again and decided to get in first. Somewhat suprisingly Wlad seems to have backed that up too.

the way i see it -

Haye shouldn't have been in there shouting his mouth off, but clearly there was a disconnect between Vitali virtually calling Haye out in the ring, Haye having agreed all the details and his manager then telling him he was 'out' of the picture - even though he was right in saying that Chisora gave everyone more value for money in the fight (i thought he should more than anyone v the Klits in recent times). Chisora though badly burned bridges and probably won't get the rematch or Wlad fight he might have without his antics.

Anyway back to the point, Haye shouting his mouth off was embarrassing, then Chisora simply shouldn't have been allowed to walk up to Haye - whether security, FW or his team, or a mix of all of them, how he was allowed to get that far for a confrontation is ridiculous. He clearly wanted to intimidate Haye, telling his boys to stand behind him, but Haye punched without warning with a bottle in his hand and that's a shameful move - he knew full well a proper toe to toe couldn't have occurred in that room and getting that punch in knowing it couldn't be returned (let alone against a man who has just gone 12 Rounds hard against a Klitschko) was shameful both in terms of honour and what's expected of a boxer.

Then to start laying into Chisoras trainer who seemed to be intent on keeping the 2 apart at that point was pathetic.

Del's clearly a nutcase, he's got a screw loose, no defending his actions, but he's an out of control lad with problems a dangerous fella, and in his last two fights has shown he's a better fighter than many thought ( The Fury fight was his own fault for coming in with bigger tits than dolly parton) - he was bang out of line so often throughout this week, but in the end Haye was just as bad in every way - and Booth an embarrassment too, but he's often shown a lack of class, especially with his wanker sign at Jimmy Mc after the DeGale fight when Jims first action was to walk over and congratulate Groves.

But it was funny to see him walking around saying that he wanted to know who bottled him from behind and wanted to deal with them....little did he know...

Haye wasn't defending himself, it was a situation that was escalating bit by bit and each played a part in escalating it, Haye took it into violence, in my opinion in a cowardly manner and at a cowardly time.

i concur with some of your thoughts, apart from the bit about chisoras trainer, he is an ar5e, he should not have been down there in the crowd, 30 secs earlier he was bahind a desk gobbing off at haye, nice to see DH stick one on him aswell!!
