The events over the last few days meant we have calls from "hardcore" boxing fans for the following people to be banned from boxing.

1) Derek Chisora
2) David Haye
3) Carl Frotch
4) Peter Buckley


Anyone i'm missing?

Who said Froch should be banned?

I've never once said any of them should be banned. I said appropriate action needs to be taken against Haye, Chisora and Froch. That may be in the form of a suspension, a hefty fine or something more severe. That is for the BBBC to determine and/or the police.

Cant agree with that mate. Disciplined yes, but banned?
if every sports star who stepped out of line at some point was banned, well im sure their would be a couple of voids.
Froch was silly saying that but in all honesty I dont believe there was much truth in the 'multiple times' more like an excuse for maybe not finishing fights earlyier and feeding his ego saying he can stop people at any point.
Buckley again dont agree as it seems a bit daft humorous comment?

Anyway what makes someone a hardcore fan?
Am I more a hardcore fan than someone who doesnt subscribe to B.Nation?
Is Joe Bloggs more of a fan as he goes to a show every week?
Is someon who stepped through the ropes more of a fan?
Not deliberately being awkward but I dont know what constitutes a hardcore fan

Froch definately carried Taylor for 12 rounds

Just looked at the list. Peter Buckley has retired along with David Haye. As for Froch he might get a fine or reprimand from the Board of Control regarding his comments and as for Chisora yes I think he should be banned for at least 2 years if he does not end up in a German prison.
