Is anyone picking Judah to upset Spinks?

Its got potential for boring fight of the year award in many peoples opinion, but it still an interesting & hugely important fight

McCoy has a feeling that Spinks will box well, but Zab will be just too good for him and win a unanimous decision

Some people get so carried away with Zabs knockout loss to Tszyu that they forget just how talented the guy actually is

Zab was quoted as saying "Once I win these championships I want to be the only fighter to play around with the weight classes which means that I will still be the WBO champ at 140 & undisputed at 147 I would just go up & down taking all of the necessary fights to rule both weights"

So Ricky wont get away from Zab 'Super' Judah that easily!

Yes I'd go for Judah in this one. His one big weakness can be discounted here, as Spinks is no puncher.
Might be close, but Spinks will be up against the judges too ( or All The King's Men )
He wasn't meant to win his last fight, and he's not meant to win this one either!

Yes i also jumped on the Corley bandwagon after his KO of Felix Flores, which if you have not seen it is a devastating display of fast combination punching (on the Soto-Tapia undercard). I have always disliked Judah as a person but as a Boxer he is pretty effective, i reiterate that Hatton would get cut badly and lose to him as he punches too hard, he is also more controlled and skilled than the raw and brutal Mayorga who Spinks beat on a close decision remember with Mayorga having two points deducted as well. So i agree with McCoy and go for a Judah points win.

Yes I think I might go for a bet there McCoy, what do you think? Matchfixer recomended skybet.com as a good site.

Then again I did pick Francis over Skeldon - but I had a virus at the time :D

Have to agree with many of the comments here in that as much as I find Judah distasteful, his loss to Tsyzu has meant that his exceptional talent has been underplayed in recent times.
I see him outpointing or even stopping Spinks late. I'm still not convinced by Spinks despite the Mayorga win.
And Hatton should stay well clear of him...

I predict he will upset him, by grabbing his nuts at the pre-fight press conference.

I don't like this match for Cory, I would much prefer to see him with Mayorga again, I think he can do an even better job in a rematch. Judah is a class above Mayorga offensively, but certainly looks vunerable defensively. Spinks doesn't have much power, but is the naturally bigger man - whoever has the fastest hands (and I'm not sure) will win this fight.

I believe the outcome of the Witter fight might hold some significance for Spinks. Despite winning comfortably, Judah couldn't figure out the box of tricks and the movement/footwork of the Sheffield fighter. Whilst be a more traditional fighter, Spinks does possess similar traits to Witter - will Judah be able to figure him out.

My hunge is no and Spinks will win a close majority decision.

Judah for sure, he has faster handspeed, he's more elusive and hits harder...It will start off a chessmatch, with Judah gradually edging enough enough rounds to win a close UD or MD

I think that the fact that Spinks has been given Judah (who has far more financial potential and is ready for his "return" as a p4p type) tells us who DK thinks will win.

I won't argue with the Don and will commend him on yet another excellent match.
