Whats peoples prediction for this fight saturday?

I've seen more of huck over the past few years, he seems a big clumsy wild boxer who is very entertaining to watch, however povetkin seems more cool and calculated and the naturally bigger heavy weight, it should be a very interesting fight but I'm gona favor povetkin early to mid rounds, huck takes to many chances and for me will end up getting caught !

A win for povetikin he'll get a mid-late stoppage or a wide points win. cunningham stopped huck back in 07 and hes not a massive puncher. I cant see huck causing him problems, we dont know if hucks power will be effective at heavyweight hes only 27 so its not as though he couldnt of grown into the weight unless he was stuggling to make crusierweight or he mite of taking a couple of easier fights before taking on someone like povetkin probably 3rd best heavyweight in the world right now.

I seem to be in the minority, but I just don't rate Povetkin. He always looks like he's a stone overweight, seems to have gone backwards and isn't a big puncher. Huck isn't a great boxer, but he's very fit, lets his hands go amd likes to fight. This is a massive opportunity for Huck and I really hope he wins. I got Huck winning 7-5 or so.

I agree with everything you said, except I think Povetkin will stop Huck later in rounds 8-10.

I think Povetkin will over power him early, Huck fights with his face a bit, and hasn't taken a full powered heavyweights punches in a real fight before. I can't see him taking it

Fancy Povetkin by ko as well, just feel that if Cunningham can stop the guy then Povetkin has too hit a lot harder than USS so have taken the 15/8 inside the
distance for Povetkin, feel it should be nearer evens.

Really looking forward to this Huck has improved drasticly since being stopped by cunningham which was more to do with stamina than his punch resistance, theres been a few stories about Huck getting the better of Povetkin in sparring but i see Povetkin using his superior boxing ability to win arounf 115-113

Huck windmills in the early rounds and gets tired. Povetkin keeps his cool to win a wide UD.

Its been overlooked this fight.... I think it is very intriguing. Too young, active, fighters going at it. It aint quite a 50:50 fight.... but we might find out a lot more about Povetkin.

Povetkin looks too big doesn't he, to hold off for 12 rounds...that's a massive test for Huck. Got to hand it to him here, he's got balls stepping up to take on the big boys so early in his career.
He's got a great chin, and he's a real fighter, but that probably rules out a Haye type safetly first performance - he'll probably start trading with the Russian at some point, and that'll probably be the end.
But the German outfit usually takes a great game plan into these fights, they must have a real feeling Huck can win this, it's the fight of the weekend, and rightly puts Clev's defence against a journeyman hillbilly into the shade.

Thank god Box'nation are showing it - but it's gonna clash with the Clev fight no ? Hopefully we don't get it delayed, should be around 10 uk time - so lets hope Clev hits the ring at 9, as he should be finished by 9.15.

Huck's not even fifteen stone, is he? I shall watch & perhaps wonder if I'm not actually watching something from the early 90s, two guys who aren't both six & a half feet -tall going at it. It's gonna be weird. I half expect to see Mike "The Bounty" Hunter sitting at ringside, waiting to call out the winner.

I think Povetkin's gonna win, but he's been dreadful at times since beating Chambers (which seems a lifetime ago) so I could see him fvcking it up. Will Kap'n carry his power up to heavyweight? Will Povetkin's waistline wobble like the Pilsbury Doughboy? Will Huck surprise us all & do that half-arsed hit & move thing he was doing against Lebedev? & will Povetkin be too fat to trundle around after him?

These questions will, I think, be answered.

Huck's about 20lb lighter...so you have to assume the German camp have drilled into him that he can't get involved. If he manages to stay out of trouble, you'd think that somehow, if he's on his feet after 12, the judges will be giving it to him. He's the hometown boy, and they treat their judges very well in Germany.

I'm going for the Huck on points bet, as odds of 9/2 looks worth a shot here.

I think Povetkin wins it by KO. If it was to go the distance I think they would give it to Huck because its bound to be a close fight.

I agree with this. Povetkin is not a big heavyweight, but 20lbs when you're weighing 209 is almost 10% and decent weight to give away.

It's a weird fight - Povetkin can look very bad, esp recently but Huck might not be big enough.

I can't see beyond a povetkin win; but not sure if Pts or KO

Looks like I'm the only one going for Povitken early ko. But I am shite at predictions

povetkin ko for me, i think he'll have too much for kuck in his first fight at HW. im sure it will be a great fight though, looking forward to it.
