I reckon you're right about Chavez getting a points decision but if Murray keeps on top of him with good combinations like against Sturm it may be a close one.

Chavez was ear-marked for Andy Lee but apparently that's off the table maybe ? due to him been promoted by Lou Dibella Martinez's promoter.

I see Murray winning and weight not being an issue.Murray knows how to make weight and rehydrate. That said its always going to be a problem for an away fighter especially if the champion is a cash cow.

Chavez is hardly overrated. He's defeated a pair of top ten opponents, yet he stilll doesn't get much credit.

True Chavez WAS once overated when starting out but must be hard to live up to an All Time Great of a father but recent years he has improved dramatic I think much credit to Alex Ariza who is I feel very under estimated and goes un-noticed. His recent form over the years I feel is partly due to him, being active and also Roach gameplans! Chavez aint an easy fight anymore for anyone Hence his title but I cant see him being stronger than Martin I think Sturm found that out Hence no re-match!!

Murray v Barker is a very tough fight to make, with the two Promotors involved.

hopefully chavez jr has to defend vs martinez, settling that WBC title mess. given that chavez jr now lacks an opponent.

chavez jr has been able to fight zbik and rubio, barely winning (albeit exciting fights). i hope martinez can get a popular, decent fighter like chavez in order to pull in good audiences, expand his fan base and get his rightful championship belt back (sergio's been screwed out of WBC belts at 154 and 160).
