Pascal, Dawson, Ward, Hopkins??? Dont make us laugh Nathan

Shut Out for Cleverly total mismatch very predictable, ok he maybe deserved it after the Bellew fight, but any talk of a fight against any of the names being mentioned is a total non starter. Still way to easy to hit, no punch power, ok he may have quick hands but he no Pacman, showed decent fitness but he was never tested and if he couldnt get a fighter like Karpency, who was the size of a 14 year old and throwing as many hurtful shots as my grandmother, out of there, then does anyone think he has a chance of beating anyone decent?
Roy Jones is looking for work why not fly him over?

If he wants a unification go after Cloud. He should fight Campillio next.

The opponent was crap and unbelievably negative.
I'm half prepared to give Cleverly a pass for that performance tbh.
He really does need to work on some technical aspects though, his footwork was particularly poor and he didn't force the shots home enough for my liking, too much pitter patter.
Might be time to fire the old man and look for someone that can tighten up those weaknesses and teach him a few things, rather than just getting him into shape.

Agree, but can't see him getting rid of the old man. Agree with Barry after the fight, he will have more power at range and needs someone to bring it on him. Stick him in with Hopkins, if he looses so what !

Superb handspeed last night but there was a serious lack of power. Think it was a par performance and would really like to see him tested next. Fair enough I wasn't in the ring but he was having a laugh saying the yank was the hardest puncher he's faced, powder punches.

If he didn`t punch with some sort of authority - then surely a strong guy like Bellew would have walked through him?
I agree he needs to move on from his father training him if he really wants to fullfill his potential

In 3-4 fights time he will still be fighting sub standard opposition and calling out the big names.
The lads "problem" is he had a "world title" given to him far too early in his career.

They saying unification fight in summer so the April opponent will be another low risk fighter.

Good call, a fight with Campillo would tell us a lot about where Cleverley stands in the division.

It'll probably be that Fonfara guy that was been touted before they picked up Karpency.

Adrian Diconu would be a decent test for him. Not of the standard of the big guns at 175, but while he probably lost twice to Pascal who is one of the big guns, he did win a few rounds and didn't get knocked spark out in the process.

Good fight, but too dangerous for FW to consider I would have thought. Also too expensive. I'd expect another Karpency type of opponent. Look for a couple of no-hopers to be elevated into the WBO top 15 to accomodate FW productions.
