Hi all who do you think in a peak nathan cleverly or a prime Clinton woods I don't fink it goes 12 in woods favour what's your opinion

Woods would of schooled him in the later rounds.

What does 'fink' mean?

clinton grinds him down and probably stops him on his feet late on, good fight while it lasts

At this point I'd say Woods by close decision.

woods by late stoppage in a very one-sided beating. Or maybe earlier, a la Rico Hoye.

Cleverly is only a baby and hasn't reached his peak, i would say Woods on points but if Cleverly goes onto beat fighters like Campillo, Shumenov, Cloud and Dawson in good fashion then i would favor him.

Yep, im with you on that one, Clev is still learning his trade yet, it'll be a few more years before this can be a good debate.

the underated clinton stops him late, at this stage at least.

i think this would be a good fight i think clinton woods is probably the better boxer but i think cleverly has a better engine would sneak it close very close decision.

Yep woods would handle the cleverly we have seen so far.

A shame Clinton really failed to do justice in his 2 biggest fights which say nothing of the mans underrated chin, power, will to win and skill.

I really loved this guys title run and his press conference line to Tarver " you wanna learn some manners pal" is an all time keeper!!

Woods is a very, very underrated British fighter. He wins this fight comfortably. Too much variety and just the better boxer, all round. He had a good engine, too.

As I say, criminally underrated.

The comma before 'sodomise' kind of makes the sentence read differently... As in, not that Britney, Cheryl et al would be the subjects of the sodomy...

I don't think the talent pool is particularly deep at present. Too me, Tavoris Cloud is like a bigger version of Jeff Lacy, Campillo and Shumenov are no great shakes and the top man, who is brilliant I might add, is old enough to be someone's granddad.

Cleverly to me is a domestic level fighter who has gotten to world class because there's enough weak opposition out there for him to be considered good enough. I think he can beat Shumenov and Cloud etc but wouldn't fancy his chances against Pascal, Dawson or Hopkins.

Likewise, if any of the top super-middles stepped up I think they could have Cleverly's number as well.

But I'll give Nathan his dues. He's a top lad (I used to speak to him regularly when he was a skinny kid making his way on Joe Calzaghe's undercards) and he deserves to make the most of his opportunities.

Britney Spears did Marry Kevin Federline so i would say your chances are probably quiet high, Kim Kardashian also has a bad choice in blokes so you never know.

I was with clinton wen he boxed cloud I thought it was a very close fight cloud had to be taken to hospital after he was nackerd clinton told me he was boxing just for a hobby not to win even an area title its a crazy story

Clinton is a Great Fighter, plus more important a Great Guy. very underrated.

prob with clinton is he made everything hard work for himself didnt he? I watched him in fights where he was clearly superior and yet he'd let himself get dragged into a dog fight. class act tho, deserved every bit of his success. i was made up when he did hoye and got the verdict over johnson.
