Who knows what damage he would have done if he fought on. My first reaction was he bottled it.

well if he does retire he can look back on his career with satisfaction of being Scotlands only two weight Commonwealth and World Champion

It was a feckin European title fight in front of your home crowd, the only way your getting taken out is after you've been put on your back and can't get up....

Bottled it plain and simple, no defence!!!

A former WBU lightweight and light welterweight champion. In saying that aren't most boxers current or former world champions these days??!

I'm a bit late to this but...

I was at the fight and have to say was really dissapointed with how it went. There was allot of excitement beforehand and we wouldn't have been dissapointed (or surprised) if he lost going the distance.

Regardless of what injury was carried - it was a sad way for the night to go.
