Caught some of it-seemed like a good debate. Here it is.

I was there, and very interesting. Most interesting was that Allegedly and Robert Smith went off into a dark corner for (to be fair what seemed a fairly amicable) chat for 15 minutes after recording stopped. Us mere mortals got ushered out by security then, but got some pics with Kev Mitch and Daz Barker etc. I think Warren got far too much mike time though.

Warren spoke a lot of sense to be fair. It was funny listening to that goon who commentates for 5live trying to defend the BBC.

To be fair to Costello, Warren asking a room full of boxing fans if they want boxing on BBC is a bit of a no-brainer. Try asking the same of a room full of WI members or Greenpeace activists and you'll get a different response. They're all licence fee payers too (although maybe not some of the Swampys).
Warren made some good points but they tended to be obscured by his attacks on everyone else in boxing. As the biggest promoter, manager, tabloid columnist and a TV broadcaster he surely recognises that he should take some responsibility for the state of the game.

He did right up until he tried to compare there being the UEFA Cup and the Champions League to multiple 'world' titles at the same weight. I could see what he was trying to say but he had a shocker there IMO.
