Its terrible for a boxing only channel.

I aint even gonna try and watch it tonight, anyway the stream ive been watching the past few weeks has got more infections than imogen thimas now for some reason so cant be bothered with it.

Dillian Whyte aint too bad, Chas Symonds comes to fight and Sexton should be better now he lost Hayemaker.

Crap card but nice to see Woody on there.

The atmosphere at Troxy always looks shocking.

Well Dillian Whyte did what he had to do, which was get the guy out of there as quick as possible and in a highlight reel KO. Plus he seems media friendly in a good way.
Needs to keep getting experienced sparring, and regular fights. But one to watch for sure.

I reckon the Enzo card will be worse!

Is there any qaulity control regarding thsi channel. Its lucky its got some good overseas fights as most of the UK fights have been tosh since subcription.

Fair enough it's hardly a card worth paying for but people have moaned for more small hall shows on tv and it was a mickey helliet promotion with a main event added to the card. I'm not complaining.

Very very poor, but I think we knew that before the program had started.

First time I've been to the Troxy and was a weird atmosphere. Was there to support Johnny Garton whose support (as it has been at his previous two fights) was very good and loud (not that I'm biased). They mucked up a bit with putting Ricky Boylan and Lee Owen (same gym I think) on after the tv had finished and both had brought good suport with them which might have livened it up a bit.

Your out of touch mate, what people want is quality well matched undercards, not fighters from abroad just coming over for the money with no ambition, small hall cards can still have quality, ask Promoters like Coldwell and Fearen.

Even the main event was not a proper match, everyone knew Smith would stop him early, no defence.

If they are going to do small hall shows they need to do 2 things
1-have solid 50-50 style matches
2-have them backed up by decent cards on other weeks

Use the small hall shows to fill up the calender so to speak whilst arranging bigger shows to be on the channel as well. The Warren cards so far have been appalling with only the international cards being any quality SINCE turning pay.

(1) I for one want more small hall shows on TV
(2) Mickey has put on some really good shows at the Coronet and in Camden recently
(3) there were some good fighters on the bill - incl Chas Symonds
(4) one of the reasons why the last series of hows ahve worked so well is that he had a whole series of 4 x 3s in quick succession - when you are televised this gets broken up by interviews and endless allegedly chuntering on
(5) the Troxy is not a good boxing venue - it is a beautiful theatre - but for the purposes of boxing its simply not suitable - this is made worse by all the TV parahapnalia and gantries making visibility difficult

Mickey is one of the people keeping the sport vibrant
i.e. he's one of the good guys
but there are lessons from Friday night

While I totally agree I think that maybe 60/40 would be more accurate as you are never going to get 50/50 matches

But also for a subscription TV channel that is trying to get more viewers that was hardly a great advertisement. Surely it would have been better to match the boxers with a British opponent with some ambition instead of the overmatched eastern Europeans. These were similar to the ones Maloney used when he apologised the fans afterwards & said he would never use them again.
