Norton vs Stribling for the WBU strap is signed.

Liston would like Ingo again, to 'right' the 'wrong'.

In the interest of full disclosure, if Frazier accepts this fight he will be stripped of the WBA Title.

I'm going to throw a "nuance" out on this one. IF NO other DUAL qualified candidate...(a fighter rated in BOTH sanctioning bodies) should step forward, this fight will be allowed.
Also....the rule about a fighter who lost his fight last week being UNqualifed to vie for titles will be waived for this week.
I believe there are quite a few dual qualified fighters available. Hopefully one will step forward to be Zombifed by Joe.

Crease....I thought for sure Kenny won the WBF/U/IBO trash title ....but you have Archie Moore retaining ownership. Did Ken drop it?

Then that changes everything... I will make the appropiate changes on the elligible challengers post above.

Is Scmeling rated by both? If so, he's a good qualified candidate....IMO. Did he win last week? If so even more qualified.

I think if anyone deserves to fight for the WBA, IBF, and Lonsdale belts, it's the fighter who had the balls to step up first say, "Fight ME, for I am worthy," and a man that has been a previous holder of the Lonsdale title, whom I would also like to add is managed by a multi-champion managing likely future Hall of Famer, the Renegade Master, Mr. JDC.
It's only right that he be allowed to fight Zombie Joe, in a fight that Joe was ready to accept until the conundrum was realized, and might I add that there was not another offer to Mr. Frazier for nigh an entire day. Shmeling is deserving and worthy, let the previously agreed upon fight take place!
You make a compelling argument. And since both Managers are keen for the fight to happen, this fight will be sanctioned for Joe's Unified Titles.

Before we go forward with Schmeling as a lock......have we eliminated fighters that are rated by both sanctioning bodies AND had a win last week?
I don't want THAT or THOSE fighters ignored IF they have the will, want and desire. Shouldn't they be heard from within the context of this discussion?
Crease...where's your consistency? Or are there no such candidates? Usually you are promoting those options first.
I'm just sayin'.....
usually everybody who has a claim WANTS the shot....unless it's of course a GBP fighter lol.

Looking over the options.....looks like Foreman is one who would have a fully legitimate claim. Are there others?
Won last week? Check
Rated by both sanctioning bodies? Check
Wants the fight? Unknown
Detroit...seems your pretty energized to "git goin".....maybe we need to sit and drink some tea together and discuss this further.
Make mine Earl Grey.
Are there other fighters in this catagory?
Crease young squire, you were ready to have Joe stripped if he took that fight. I opened up options because I thought they were needed. Were they?

Not a problem. I had assumed Schmeling would be ranked by both.
He'll face Langford.
