Not up on Boxrec yet and the promoter's own website is not pushing the fight ticket wise.

I know Gavin looks in here ocassionally and just wondered if the fight was still in March or if it had been pushed back?

Hope its still on as Rees needs to step on the gas and get busy really, there are some big fights out there for him if he goes away and wins this which
he should do, not sure Mezaache can hold Gavin's power for 12 rounds.

Good to hear Gavin that it is still on, the Europeans have a habit of calling fights off at short notice and was just worried it was not advertised anywhere on there website

Never seen Mezaache box, but going by his record shouldn't cause too many problems for Rees. Surprised Hearn hasn't won the bids for this though

Does he really care about Rees, if he did he would of put this fight on in the Uk on either the Brook or Froch undercard.

hes a light punching tricky kid if i remember. didnt he beat thaxton? Shame its over there tbh.

Tough fight. Mezzache is tough as old boots, very tricky, knows how to use the ring well. Cracking win for Rees if he pulls it off, especially in the other guys backyard.

Fixed - wrong date posted - it's 23rd.

Not massively impressed with Mezzaache if it's the guy who beat a poor version of Thaxton.

Rees will do a number on him. But I wouldn't expect any favours on the cards.

I remember similar thing with Haye v Mormeck fight in that tickets only went on sale very late, about fortnight before, and then sold out almost instantly
