My guess is that Buster on that one night would have fared pretty well against Schmeling, Braddock, Charles, Walcott, Marciano, Patterson, Johansson, and the two Spinks. Maybe even with Tunney, that would have been a pretty serious size discrepancy, no?

I don't really have a feel for how good the champs were pre-Dempsey and post-Tyson so I'm leaving them out.

Shouldn't it be against whom else?

I'd give him a shot against Rocky & Jack, he would have given Lennox hell.

We have to remember his mom had recently passed so Buster had extra motivation. On that nite Buster gives any fighter probs. Tyson caught him flush on the chin wit punch that kos most any fighter but Buster wit motivation was able to handle it n sum
