Does anyone have the official record of John L. Sullivan?

The record on BoxRec is probably one-tenth or maybe less of John L.'s entire fighting record. I read it was assumed he knocked out between 400-500 men? Is there any record of this? Or a more completer record than the one on BoxRec. It's been written that his fight with Corbett was his last but in fact he had several fights afterwards way out of shape to make some money, winning most by KO.

So, anyone know anything of John L.'s entire record or have it? Would be amazing to see it.Image

Seems to me that, if it verifiably existed, it'd be up here already.

First...wrong forum.

Second....I am sure a bunch of his fights were off the record back room brawls.

Indeed. And it's going to be practically impossible to find documentation of them now that we are here over 100 years later...
Sounds to me hear say talk, y'know the type of thing you would expect a drunk old man to be talking about in a pub.

I believe a book has been written that attempts to fill some gaps....not sure of the title.
