Buzz I would have let you have this fight, but you lost last week against Riddick Bowe so you aren't elligible for a title shot. Sorry.

Crease......the WBU/IBO is not a title, it's more of a "label" or even better an "accusation"........the ONLY requirement is that one be rated 15 or below. Corbett has carefully managed his position, and he is indeed rated UNDER #15.
Do not run.

"Winning" is not a requirement. Charlie Sheen is not the WBU/IBO commish.

You and I both know that is not true BoxBuzz. Besides I was rejected a WBU Title shot earlier this season because Norton had lost the previous week. And as you rightly said last week,
consistency is key.

Crease, you can have your way with this. However if this ever was a rule for WBU "label" it is hereby quashed and is no longer a requirement. This IS a loser's paradise, with little in terms of regulation other than the below 15 rating, and winning will not be a future requirement....unless the current occumpent of the belt requires it to be. Sounds Like Norton will use this caveat for an excuse to avoid certain defeat at the hands of the original master craftsman who is a bit down on his luck.
You will not be blamed. But you are now informed.

If you wish to change the WBU regulations it is your prerogative and that will come into effect at the beginning of the next season (ala the name change to: IBO).
For the meantime however the status quo will be observed.

For this fight, the "status quo" is whatever Norton Mangement decides.
I suggest you take on the person who most deserves the #15 rating. lol

THE ROCK deserves better .....too much attention to last half vs first half, an age old bias.
It's a "what have you done for me lately?" mentality.
THE ROCK deserves the highest of honors having KO'd dempsey and never having a trilogy.
THE ROCK would be willing to even the score with Ali or Holmes this week if possible, since we have beaten Joe Louis mercilessy more times than we can count.
OR as has always been the case he will fight any man in the house..and bludgeon them thusly.

For your information Buzz, everyone realises that you're changing the rules to get yourself a title shot.

Hold on a moment, there's definitely a discrepancy here. Certain (HOF) Managers have been granted WBU Title shots when it went against the grain - and others (such as myself) tried to solidify one, we were rejected.
This matter needs some clearing up.

That's a strong possibility. But this has been done on others apart from me, Harshfriller for example (if I can remember correctly).
I'll bring this issue up to Buzz when we discuss what's happening for next season.

Has Deno posted lately? Pretty sure he's off travelling the world.

I'm not sure, WBU has always been a "whatever" proposition as far as I can remember. So that applies for this final fight as well. Norton is on solid ground to do whatever he wishes.
In the future the WBU/IBO will have one rule....challengers must be rated at #15 or under. W/L status of challenger will not be an issue.
Few rules....just right. Just like the Outback.
Commish will only be involved if a bully of above 15 stature attempts to force a WBU/IBO champion to defend his title against him at gunpoint.

If he isn't on toward the end of the card completion then I'll match up his fighters against the first people to call them out.
Anyone got any grudges against Deno's fighters? It is grudge week after all...

Indeed. I am looking forward to drafting fighters in the next season as opposed to coming in late and getting leftover slop.

Who is willing to offer Liston his last and final shot at a Title?
Last week, last shot...a man of this status surely deserves one last crack. Never won a title, beaten a lot of top guys (lost to a few, too). There will be 'no eclipse of the Sonny' this time.....
Sharkey, the amount of draws he has had might be some record? Possibly? 5 to date, I believe....
Sharkey wants a beast of a fighter, to cap of the season, Marciano, Tyson, Foreman, Frazier, Lewis, it doesn't matter. He will be glad to re-arrange facial features
