Larry Foley Thread

Larry Foley was one of the greatest fighters of the 1870s. He claims to have fought and beaten every fighter of the period, although obviously his record is not fully known. This thread is a tribute to one of Australias greatest old time fighters. I am sure that Larry will get some fans along the way, and we will find out quite a bit about a great often forgotten fighter.
I will start with this one which (according to CBZ at least) is an unrecorded fight with a previous victim, Fred Jackson, the brother of the NSW Heavyweight boxing champion on 25 November 1871 with a win in the 13th round.
Here is a pretty good account of Foley's draw with Peter Newton
