Maybe the greatest southpaw heavyweights. How do you see it?

In a perfect world, I see it at CW.

And a motivated Moorer (I know) would take this.

I'd see Byrd being too slick, and out pointing Michael.

Moorer had enough all around skill to eke out a close decision against the defensive wizard Byrd. He'd need to be in top form though, because Byrd as we all know can frustrate the hell out of guys.

The prime Moorer would win a close decision by landing the more eye-catching shots and coming on strong late after working Byrd's body early.

Moorer is on a different level to the mostly past it guys who Byrd frustrated. I see Moorer roughing Byrd up and overpowering him in an interesting but never exciting contest.

Byrd takes this by Unanimous Decision.

Why?

If someone managed to wake up the judges from Byrd's fight with Williamson then I see a close decision for Moorer. Otherwise everyone will be waiting for Buffer's scorecard reading for a long time.

I see moorer winning by decision or late tko, skilled enough to hang with and out muscle byrd also moorer was a good heavyweight againts guys around the same size he seemed more confident.

This is a fight that would be best at LHW or CW (not heavy).

At either of those weights LHW or CW.....Moorer would hunt down and stop C Byrd without a doubt in my mind.

A fight at a lower weight would be more to Moorers advantage because Byrd relied on speed to beat the bigger guys.
