Heard it was a TD because of a cut. Anyone see this fight?

Yes, Nasser Al Harbi won every round and rocked Jamie Ball several times, but was head butted accidently in the 4th and the ref stopped it, despite it being only a little cut and not running in the eye, We wanted to have a chance to work on the cut, but despite our protests the ref declared a technical draw because it was only in the 4th round, the sad part was that the cut stopped bleeding straight after, Balls unbeaten record was saved by the refs decision, we have asked for a rematch, but both Jamie Ball and his team have commented that they don't want, not suprising the way the fight went.

All I know such a bad decision has slowed our progress somewhat, I have no doubt that Nasser would have stopped Ball later on, then doors would have opened, but now, I don't know.

true it is difficult, sometimes being put in an a eliminator can tie you up, in this case the board will say nothing is decided and want it replayed, but if Jamie Ball does not want it, will the board let one of us face Ochieng ? One thing for sure we would take the fight for the English title anytime.

i thought the ref should hav let al harbi's team work on the cut blood wasn't flowing into the eye the fight was bubbling up nicely. there wasnt much in it id got nas 2-1 up at the time of the cut. it wasnt as one sided as put on earlier. cudnt tell from my view if it was a punch or head clash both camps hav different views on it. surely there has to b a rematch with both lads looking to push on towards title level

We have asked for one maley, but the ball camp have told everyone they don't want it, the ref had Nasser Al Harbi winning all the rounds at the time of the cut, watched the fight on video afterwards and the last contact before the cut was an accidental head clash, Jamie ball's head was bruised from the clash has well, plus Nasser Al Harbi has never had a cut in both his pro and amatuer career, ever, I think that the fact that they don't want the rematch says something. We will be writing to the BBB of C to ask for a rematch ASAP or a shot Erick Ochieng for the English Title..

Safeerah I dont think Ochieng will wait around for you guys to sort yourself out the Hearns have many people lining up to fight him on a big show and then he will move on and the belt will be vacant

To be honest most who win the English title get a shot at the british, so it is possible, but we are not responsible for the officials, if not for them pulling it on a cut we would be talking with Ochieng's team now, but Nas is only 22 years old, so if we have to wait for our shot, we have time on our side, Nas is still young, Nasser Al Harbi V Erick Ochieng would be a wonderful technical battle.

Ochieng doesn't need Nasser and I guess that is the advantage of having a good promoter. Sky love Ochieng and who knows after Rose fights Maxwell I think Ochieng could be next up. Boxing is not about what is fair its about who has got favour. (Favour is not fair)

Anyway Nasser's fighting Young Mutley. Not sure why he would want this fight it seems like a bit of a waste of time

Too true mate, Ochieng would beat Rose in my opinion, so would Nas, as Hatton told me after Nasser spar with him for the brook fight, Kel asked us to be his main sparring partner for the Hatton fight, but firstly Nas injured his knee so could not spar for 3 weeks with Kel, then we had already promised the Hattons, but I am sure Ochieng would have done a good job good and leaned a lot from Kel.
