Wlad last fight on sky got 173k in viewers live 9th best on sky sports 1 that week the football game Spurs losing to United got 2.4million viewers.

Macklin-Moore was a domestic fight of the year candidate and the Sturm fight from all accounts as I have not seen it yet was apparently a rotten bit of homecooking .

True, but in the hours before Haye-Wlad they sure weren't showing Haye-Thompson.

Hayes best performances have came in wins, macklins have came in losses. That's the bottom line.

To be fair to Sturm, he showed some class in that fight, kept composed and came on strong down the stretch.
